Ventilation systems – installed to perfection

Ventilation systems form an essential part of a buildings structure and allows its occupants to breathe in fresh air as well as promoting the extraction of polluted air. There is, of course, natural ventilation in buildings that can appear in the form of purpose-built openings like doors, windows and trickle ventilators, but for large complex building structures like residential complexes or high-rise apartments, it’s vital that adequate ventilation systems are built in.

Types of ventilation systems

There are four types of ventilation in the mechanical system, they are:- Mechanical Ventilation With Heat Recovery (MVRHR), Decentralised Mechanical Extraction System (D-MEV), Centralised mechanical extraction system, most commonly known as Mechanical Extraction Ventilation (MEV) and Positive Input Ventilation system (PIV).
